- Lead a 2-3 person team in developing industry leading solutions in screen-print product development and production, creating new techniques in screen-printing for fashion industry. - Collaborated with chemist/wash master for development of new laundering/print techniques for knit products
- Created illustrations and graphics as needed for clients
- Collaborated with client design directors to create branding and miscellaneous marketing ephemera for new products
- Assisted international partner Union Cotonnière/UCO Denim India with design direction on corporate re-branding
- Worked with start-up fashion brands to design and implement their brand identity
- Supervised 3-7 person production department, to ensure successful execution of print production runs that met standards created in product development stage. Also operated and maintained 8-color automatic screen print press on high volume production runs

The Gleaner and Journal Publishing Company
- Worked as technician in pre-press department. Shot film negatives of photographs and pages for daily newspaper print production and commercial clients. Responsible for press checks and sign-off on production. Hand-cut rubylith color separations for newspaper and commercial clients. Stripped photographic halftones into page negatives for newspaper and commercial clients. Assisted with the implementation of newspaper’s first Adobe Photoshop 2.5 installations for digital color correction and film-negative output. Assisted commercial clients with analog-to-digital work flow conversions, making software and hardware recommendations as well as offering training.
- Managed paper’s commercial print graphics department, establishing and maintaining relationships with commercial print clients. Interviewed, hired, trained and managed junior graphic designers. Designed and produced multi-page, weekly advertising inserts for multiple clients. Created illustrations and graphics as needed. Output to film. Responsible for maintenance of newspaper’s imagesetter/printers.
- Served on newspaper committee responsible for the selection, purchase, and implementation of the newspaper’s digital pagination publishing system. Made recommendations on hardware configuration. Responsible for installation and configuration of 15 new Macintosh stations, as well as hardware upgrades of 8 Macintosh stations. Installed cable and other infrastructure needs for pagination system server room, set-up and install of Mac OS servers and network. Maintained servers/network.
- Worked with newspaper’s editorial and advertising staff to create editorial, feature and advertising illustrations as needed. Won multiple Kentucky Press Association awards in Illustration

Current Projects/Interests
Current projects focus on combining traditional studio techniques with digital/on-demand manufacturing, reproduction and marketing, allowing the artist to take complete control of their work, from conception to execution and monetization. Project subject matter includes limited edition toy design and production, t-shirt collection design, digital print collection. Other interests include continued study in human interface interaction for User Experience design, skewing toward Virtual Reality.
